VSME Medals as a roadmap for impact and compliance: the Grand Casino Brussels Viage journey

The CSRD directive has been postponed, not cancelled. Soon, all companies will face growing pressure to disclose and improve their ESG performance.

Developed by EFRAG and supported by the European Union, the VSME framework serves as the CSRD’s pragmatic little sister, offering SMEs a clear and accessible path to ESG reporting.

Building on this foundation, the SMT collective (independent experts from South Pole, CO₂logic, ESGlogic, ZEI, etc.) created the VSME Medals, a practical system translating the VSME into measurable progress.

Through Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum levels, the Medals help companies assess their ESG maturity, structure data, and gain credible recognition.

Grand Casino Brussels Viage recently earned the Bronze Medal and is now working toward the Gold Medal. During this session, the team will share its concrete journey, key learnings, and next steps toward full CSRD alignment.

The conference will also highlight how ESG advisory firms can leverage this framework to support their clients as official VSME Medal advisors and verifiers.
